Skate & Groove: Longboard Dancing and Free Skate
Keep skating this winter with our weekly longboard dancing sessions! Join us indoors for two 1-hour blocks: a structured Dancing & Technique Lesson for all skill levels, followed by an Open Free Skate where you can practice, meet fellow skaters, and enjoy some ‘helicopter’ coaching.

About the event
Hi skaters! As the nights grow darker and autumn rolls in, I’ve hired an indoor space at Ashton Park Sports Centre for 5 weeks to keep us longboard dancing!
Each week, we’ll kick things off with two 1-hour blocks, come for 1 hour or both!
Hour 1: Structured Dancing & Technique Lesson
Perfect for anyone taking their first longboard steps, improving their technique, or looking to dive into more advanced dancing steps. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or you're refining your steps, this hour is for you.
Hour 2: Open Free Skate
This hour is open to skaters of all levels! It’s a relaxed session where you can practice your dancing, meet fellow skaters, and become part of the community. I’ll be floating around offering 'helicopter' style coaching, so feel free to ask me anything.
I’ll also have a selection of dancing decks available for you to borrow, but please bring your helmet and pads (pads optional).
If you're new to Soulful Skate Co. please sign the compulsory waiver in advance of the session.
