Kids Group Basics Lesson

Under 18 group longboard classes are all about fun, building confidence and learning something new!

Service Description

Lesson Content: Lessons are tailored to children of all ages whether they’ve never stepped on a board before or they want to improve existing skills. We'll cover fundamental longboarding techniques, including balancing, carving, and braking via fun games. As students progress I offer dancing and freestyle or specific pump track sessions. Sessions are completely tailored to what they’d like to learn. Lesson Time, Duration and Frequency: Kids' longboarding lessons typically last 45-60 minutes (age dependent!) You can book a one-off or recurring sessions by selecting the class packs at checkout. Equipment and safety: Please bring all protections, a helmet, elbow, knee and wrist guards. It gives you so much more confidence when learning! Please bring your board if you have one. If your child doesn't have their own longboard that’s not a problem, I have options I can bring with me, just put this in the form when booking. In advance of the session I will send a compulsory waiver for you as the parent/guardian to sing on their behalf.  Location: Lessons will be at Ashton Gate Stadium, there is a really great smooth and long tarmac spot with no cars. See the dropped pin Your teacher: My name is Danielle and I LOVE longboarding 🛹 I co-founded @BristolGirlsLongboard, a women's skate community 3 years ago and I also work part-time at Vandem Longboard Shop in Bristol. I'm staff for Longboard Girls Crew UK and LGC Global. I've had the pleasure of teaching numerous people over the years. Plus, I've completed specialised training in child instruction with Skateistan and The Good Push. I feel very lucky that I get to share my passion for longboarding with so many wonderful people!
