Kids October Half Term Longboard & Surfskate Camp (at Cabot Circus Car Park Level 7)

About the Camp:

Join us during October half-term for a unique 2-hour skate session at Cabot Circus car park which only opens one week a year!

With workshops in longboard dancing, freestyle, and surfskating, this camp is perfect for skaters aged 6-14 to build skills, confidence, and have fun.

What’s Covered:

Choose your preferred discipline or mix and match with dance & freestyle & surfskating during the session—small groups mean plenty of individual attention and opportunity for learning!

• Longboard Dancing & Freestyle: Creative tricks, footwork, and flowing lines on flat ground.

• Surfskating: Carving, pumping, and smooth, surf-inspired movements.

Schedule:

• 9:30 - 9:40 AM: Registration, gear check, and warm-up.

• 9:40 - 10:20 AM: Workshop 1 (Longboard Dancing & Freestyle).

• 10:20 - 10:25 AM: Quick break for water/snacks.

• 10:25 - 11:05 AM: Workshop 2 (Surfskating).

• 11:05 - 11:30 AM: Practice time, cool down, and reflections.

Facilities: There are no toilets nearby as this is a multi storey car park. This is why this session has been kept to 1 hour. The nearest toilets are in Cabot Circus shopping centre.

Important Information:

• Ages: Suitable for kids aged 6-14

• Equipment: All participants please bring a board, helmet, and protective gear (knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards). Longboards and surfskates are available to borrow if needed.

• Snacks: Please pack a water bottle and a snack for the break.
