Your Progression

DSC08967.jpeg

Your Journey Starts Here

Discover your unique journey with our customisable progression tree. Whether mastering basics or advancing skills, you choose the path that fits your goals. Progress at your own pace, your way.

Longboarding or Surfskating?

Your first choice is your riding style. Both longboarding and surfskating are fun and flowing, but they offer different feelings on the board. Longboarding is stable and smooth, perfect for cruising, dancing, going down hills and pump tracks; whereas Surfskating is designed to emulate surfing on land, with a looser, more responsive truck system that lets you pump and carve tighter, wave-like turns on the flat and skatepark.

If you’re brand new to board sports, longboarding is usually the best way to build balance and feel comfortable on wheels. Longboarding is by no means the easy version of skateboarding, dive deeper into the longboarding branch of the progression tree and the disciplines to learn more.

Just because you go down one path doesn't mean you can't explore another! Many people try multiple and don't necessarily settle on one.

Surfskating

Surfskating brings surfing to land. The trucks let you pump and carve like you’re on a wave, building balance, power and flow that carry straight back into the water. Ideal for surfers looking to sharpen their style or anyone wanting to explore skateparks.

Your First Pushes

If you’re completely new to surfskating or still feeling a bit wobbly on a board, this is the perfect place to begin. Come with curiosity and a willingness to learn, you’ll build confidence, push by push, settle into your stance, and find your rhythm.

Level 1 - Surfskate Foundations

Longboard-232.jpg

Surfskate Foundations is designed for complete beginners and first-timers who have never stepped foot on a board.

We’ll show you how to warm up to prevent injuries, introduce you to the components of your board, and get comfortable spending time on the floor, learning how to fall!

We'll determine your stance and teach you how to push, carve and brake.

It’s all about getting comfortable and enjoying that first taste of surf-style movement on land without pressure or rush. Ultimately, let's have FUN and remember what it is to play and fail and get back up!

Keep on Rolling

If you feel confident with the Foundations skills and they’re coming naturally, you’re ready for the next lesson. Trust your balance and keep rolling forward.

Level 2 - Surfskate Improvers

external-file_edited.jpg

Surfskate Improvers is where your riding starts to open up. We’ll build on your foundations with smoother carving, linked turns, and stronger compression, extension and pump skills. The goal is to ride with more flow, speed and intention, moving from simply balancing on the board to truly shaping your lines and feeling the rhythm of the ride.

Find Your Passion

You’ve built your flow and confidence through the foundations and improvers sessions, and now it’s time to explore what excites you most. Whether that’s the rolling rhythm of pump tracks or the creative lines of skate parks, this is where your personal style starts to take shape and your skate journey becomes uniquely yours.

Longboarding

Longboarding is a smooth, grounded way to move, offering flow, balance and freedom from your very first push. With its stable feel and relaxed rhythm, it’s the perfect entry point for beginners — and the foundation for so many longboard disciplines, from cruising and carving to dancing and downhill. It’s where confidence grows, skills take root and your unique riding style begins.

Your First Pushes

If you’re brand new to longboarding or still finding your balance on four wheels, this is the perfect place to start. Bring a curious mindset and a bit of patience — you’ll build confidence bit by bit, get comfortable on the board, and begin to feel that smooth, flowing ride from the ground up.

Level 1 - Longboarding Foundations

Longboard Foundations is designed for beginners and first-timers. We’ll start from the basics — getting comfortable on the board, learning to stand, balance and push safely, and introducing smooth cruising and gentle carving. It’s all about finding your feet, moving with ease and enjoying that first taste of longboard flow. Once the fundamentals feel steady, you’ll be ready to roll with confidence and start exploring your style.

Keep on Rolling

If you feel confident with the Foundations skills and they’re coming naturally, you’re ready for the next lesson. Trust your balance and keep rolling forward.

Level 2 - Longboarding Improvers

DSC08683.jpeg

Longboard Improvers is where your riding really begins to evolve. We’ll build on your foundations with smoother carving, cleaner footwork, more confident pushing and better flow through turns. The focus is on riding with more control, style and intention — moving from simply rolling along to truly shaping your lines, managing speed and feeling the rhythm of the ride.

Find Your Passion

You’ve built your flow and confidence through the foundations and improvers sessions, and now it’s time to follow what lights you up. Whether you’re drawn to cruising longer distances, dancing with footwork, or carving smooth lines on hills and paths, this is where your longboard style begins to take shape and your journey becomes uniquely yours.

Pump Tracks

Pump tracks are where rhythm, speed and flow really come alive, turning every roll into a wave-like ride on solid ground. With their gentle rollers and smooth berms, they’re ideal for building timing, confidence and board control — whether you’re a beginner learning to pump for the first time or a rider ready to refine technique and carry speed without pushing. It's a playground for progression, flow and fun, and a space where you can truly feel the energy of the board beneath you.

Finding Your Flow

If you’re ready to try pumping and feel the rhythm of the track, this is your next step. We’ll focus on timing, body movement and building smooth momentum over rollers and gentle turns. Expect a playful mix of learning, practice and flow as you start to move without pushing.

We’ll ease you in with simple lines, gentle rollers and supportive timing cues, helping you build confidence and understand how your body drives the board. By the end, you'll be moving with rhythm and starting to pump without thinking too hard about it.

Carry The Speed

If you’re moving smoothly through the track, holding speed and pumping without over-thinking it, you’re ready for the next step. Trust your rhythm and let the flow carry you forward.

Level 4 - Pump Track 2

DSC04547.jpeg

With smooth transitions, gentle banks and flowing lines, parks offer the perfect space to build confidence, carve tighter turns, explore surf-style movement and start using features to generate speed and rhythm. Whether you’re learning to pump up ramps for the first time or refining flow through bowls and banks, the park becomes a canvas for expression, creativity and pure movement stoke.

Carve The Concrete

If you’re feeling steady on your surfskate and ready to bring your flow into new terrain, the park is your next step. Start simple, trust your balance and let curiosity lead the way.

You'll learn how to find rhythm in compression and elevation going into banks, develop stronger and tighter turns, build height and flow into gentle transitions and open lines.

By the end, you’ll feel at ease rolling into features and finding your flow around the park.

Surf The Park

If you’re rolling comfortably, linking simple lines and feeling at home in the park, you’re ready to build on that flow. Trust your timing, keep your movements smooth and let the park guide your progression.

Whether you’re drawn to fast, flowing descents or technical slides and freeride style, this is where you carve your own direction. Pick the path that excites you most and continue building confidence, skill and flow on the hills.
