Lush Longboards organises an annual gathering of longboarders to skate from Bath to Bristol along the Bath-Bristol Cycle Path to raise money for charity. The 2024 will raise money for Macmillan Cancer.

Over the years 10s or 1000s of pounds has been raised for good causes by working with Sustrans, the British Heart Foundation, Macmillan Cancer Support and Clic Sargent.
It’s just under 16 miles, and takes a few hours to push or pump – more if you stop for a beer along the way!
There's a raffle to help raise even more cash, giving away prizes from longboard companies from all over the world.
Along the way we stop for quick dip, a pump track at Hillfields, a pint, and over the years there has also been slide jams, jump ramps, and skateparks!
The Bristol Board Meeting is a great day out, and a great opportunity to meet other longboarders of all levels from across the UK.
The Route and Where to Meet
We’re pushing off from Green Park, Bath, a short skate from Bath Spa Station, at 10.30 AM on Sunday 8th September 2024
Use postcode BA1 1JB or navigate here
If you're coming from outside Bristol you can park your car at Vandem Longboard Shop, skate to Bristol Temple Meads train station (15 mins skate) and then it's one train stop to Bath Spa station. From Bath train station it's then a 10-minute skate to Green Park.
I have plotted out the route here for you, it follows the Sustrans Route No.1 Bath to Bristol - See the route here
Did someone say Prizes?
We push all the way to Vandem Longboard Shop in Bristol for the raffle which usually takes place around 3 pm so you have loads of time to make the distance between Bath and Bristol.

Bristol Board Meeting History
Way back in 2006, Dave Cornthwaite, who had just pushed across Australia, and not content with that, the whole length of the UK too! approached Lush Longboards. He wanted to get more people into long-distance skating. Lush Longboards had just moved from Sheffield down to the current hometown of Bristol and realised that there was the ideal venue on their doorstep! The first Bath-To-Bristol skate went down in 2007, with about 50 stoked skaters attending and there now an annual turnout of 150+ skaters!
