Surfskate at The Wave

Service Description

We’re stoked to be partnering with The Wave to offer surfskate lessons that bring the feeling of surfing onto dry land. These sessions are open to adults and kids aged 6+, making them a brilliant option for families who want to learn something new together. Beginners will work on stance, carving basics, pumping for speed, edge control and safe braking. Intermediates will refine flow and posture, develop stronger bottom and top turns, and start exploring ramps and lines. Advanced riders can push their skills further with building height on ramps, snaps, cut-backs, slides, pivots and creative combinations. We’ll use drills, body awareness exercises and visualisation to help you unlock your surfskating step by step, always at your own pace. Depending on ability levels, the group may be split to allow focused coaching for different ages and experience levels. Adult tickets are £30 and child tickets (ages 6–15) are £15. Choose the number of adults and children when booking. Bring your own equipment or add board, helmet or pad hire during checkout. Helmets are required (bike helmets are absolutely fine), and pads are recommended but not compulsory for extra confidence. Classes are kept small to make sure there’s plenty of space and individual coaching, and the emphasis is on having FUN!
