Brunel Way Pump Track
Skate Spot
Brunel Way Pump Track in Bristol was one of the first Velo Solutions tracks and it came at a time before the current criteria were established (berms 1.5m high, etc). As such, it’s a little smaller than the other tracks around Bristol, but it's fantastic for beginners, and anyone trying to practice advanced tricks like manuals!
Meeting Point
Sessions will meet at the pump track itself (What3Words: ///assure.drama.glad)
If you are coming as part of one of our courses, we might meet at McAdam way Car Park, get kit on and skate across to the spot together to warm up.
Parking Info
The closest car parking is available at McAdam Way Car Park (What3Words: ///snack.frozen.sooner)
Facilities
There are no convient locations near the pump track to fill a water bottle or use the bathroom.
Environment
The track is next to 'Curbside', a Bristol Skateboarding staple spot under the flyover. There are DIY half and quarter pipes and it's a really welcoming place for skaters of all abilities wanting to practice.
It can get fairly busy on a sunny weekend with kids on scooters so try to head out early morning or late afternoon in the summer.
The pump track is an open air skate spot and therefore is affected by bad weather. Please find out more about our bad weather cancellation policy here.
