Advanced Surfskate

Skate Lesson

Advanced Surfskate is for riders who feel comfortable on transitions and slopes but want to unlock the next level of control, power and technical movement. This is a stage where many self-taught riders plateau, not because they lack confidence, but because specific technique and body mechanics haven’t quite clicked yet.

The focus is on gaining full control over verticals and steeper transitions, refining weight balance and learning how different parts of the body work together to generate speed, height and explosive rotation. You’ll work on surf-inspired movements such as cutbacks, snaps in verticals, laybacks, 360s and reverses, alongside foundational skills like kickturns, 50/50s and flyouts.

Sessions also explore how to adapt technique to different surfaces and shapes, including cupped and varied transitions, helping you stay fluid and responsive as terrain changes. Expect ongoing technical exercises designed to unlock specific movements, break common habits and build confidence with height and speed.

This level is about returning to the basics with more awareness, so you can develop a personal style that’s powerful, controlled and unmistakably surfy. It’s physical, demanding and deeply rewarding for riders who enjoy precision, presence and progression through detail.
